Batman: Arkham Knight New Trailer Released, Shows “Dual Play” Feature With Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman

After a series of teaser trailers, revealing some familiar faces making a return in Batman Arkham Knight, Rocksteady and Warner Bros have finally released the anticipated trailer that Sefton Hill has been teasing for some time. He said it a was “looking sweet” and it certainly does.

The new “Dual Play” mechanic lets you switch seamlessly between The Dark Knight and his allies

The new feature that Game Director Sefton Hill has been teasing is a new co-op mode which looks simply amazing with Batman teaming up with Nightwing, Catwoman or Robin and executing some crazy tag team moves on the many enemies he faces throughout Gotham. Whether the new mode is part of a different campaign or part of a challenge is unclear at the moment but it’s most definitely looking quite awesome.

For the first time ever, watch Batman: Arkham Knight’s exciting new “Dual Play” mechanic in action as you switch seamlessly between The Dark Knight and his allies including Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman in free-flow combat.

With Scarecrow being the mastermind behind the gathering of villains set to take Batman down for good, he faces a most dangerous and deadly foe.

Gaz Deaves, Social Marketing Manager at Rocksteady Studios explains about the Scarecrow:

“Scarecrow is a hugely inspiring character to work with. He’s the principal antagonist this time around, and we chose him for our main villain because he reflects and magnifies some of Batman’s most powerful characteristics. The Dark Knight uses fear as a weapon, but Scarecrow is a true master of terror.”“understands the value of being a symbol just as much as Batman, and uses that to create uncertainty and fear in his enemies.”

”In terms of both gameplay and narrative, that makes him very interesting, because as a player you never know what to expect from him.”

Sefton Hill, Game Director of Batman: Arkham Knight and co-founder of Rocksteady Games recently confirmed on Twitter that the game will definitely be releasing on June 23 2015, promising no more delays. Batman Arkham Knight is set to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We will bring you any new information prior to its release as soon as it becomes available.
